Aging and Health are affected throughout our lifetime. Many people do not make it to grow old, so if we are lucky. We only get one body in this life, and taking care of it while we're young can help us expect better outcomes in old age. Our bones and skin will change, along with our mental state. By 2030, 1 in 6 people in the world will be aged 60 years or over. At this time, the share of the population aged 60 years and over will increase from 1 billion in 2020 ".
Medicine is a crucial discovery made to help solve the human body's problems. Older age is also characterized by the emergence of several complex health states commonly called geriatric syndromes. In the late 18th century, all the way into the early 20th century, medicine and medical tools started to evolve. Many children and adults died from pandemics, and even the Influenza event caused the death toll to rise when there was no cure found for it yet.

2. The major sociological perspectives, including functionalism, conflict theory, and symbolic interactionism, also affect our health and cognitive abilities. Functionalism is affected by having to adjust to the role in old age and accept our mind and body. Conflict theory can be a mental battle of remembering things people could do before old age. Symbolic interactionism focuses on what happens when aging is socially affected through personal interaction and mental conditions.

3. I am going to review Healthy aging at a healthy age. This subject comes from the disease Alzheimer's and how we can simulate our brains and take action young to prevent it. Some key concepts from this article include: "Evidence suggests that the proportion of life in good health has remained broadly constant, implying that the additional years are in poor health. If people can experience these extra years of life in good health and if they live in a supportive environment, their ability to do the things they value will be little different from that of a younger person". This can affect people of any race, sex, or lifestyle.

4. The Nonprofit organization I found most interesting is Aging in Brevard, which is based on serving aging citizens with great care, dignity, and respect. They offer services to provide food, healthcare services, and even protect seniors from abuse by taking a close look at their lives.
