    Race and ethnicity are the heart of the diverse America that was built. People from all over, of every color and religion, are coming together as one in the United States. The Social influences and sociological perspectives, including functionalism, conflict theory, and symbolic interactionism, influence us and impact our lives daily. Judgment is an automatic human response to questions, opinions, and appearance, and is a part of our lives. These perspectives are psychologically influenced by race and ethnicity, which is referred to as different.

    This crime report site from the FBI is crucial for observing the charts and statistics of current crimes by race and ethnicity. In Florida, over the last 5 years, the hate crimes have been divided by percentages. Fifty % of these are classified under 'Race and Ethnicity'. 

The next highest category was sexual orientation at around 25%. In America, we all have the freedom rights to speech, religion, and petition. We were all created equal, and nobody is to judge but our God. I picked anti-trans, which was a very high amount of hate. "The updated chart reflects one crime against persons offense for each victim (i.e., the number of aggravated assault offenses will match the number of victims of aggravated assault). Crimes against property and crimes against society are unaffected by this update''.

I chose the NAACP which is a nonprofit to lead the fight in ending racial inequality. The direct quote from them states, ''Above all, we must continue to advocate for policies that ensure people of color, women, veterans, those with a disability, and all protected groups have equal access to opportunities across the country''.

Educating yourself with Societal problems.

SYG 2010, Understanding Social Problems  Alyssa Richardson      1. In the world today, scientific methods, such as observation, analysis, and surveys, are used to determine the correct reasoning.   Children, Families, and Schools    SYG 2010, Children, Families, Schools Alyssa Richardson 3/11      The three theories and perspectives are crucial to life and understanding the diverse stories and experiences encountered through the people we meet. Everyone's family has a different story and different hardships. For example, when we first meet a friend, we know nothing about them, but then we get to know them better. Functionalism is crucial to education and adaptation.
