When you have a family member who you lost to addiction, you can see firsthand how it changes someone, and not in a good way. Drugs rewire the brain and become addictive so fast that you won't even be able to tell when the addiction starts.             Alcohol feels great in the moment, but never the next day. It has high sugar and alcohol levels, which are not good for the body. It can alter your entire personality and drive you to the brink of insanity.
